Temple

“The temple stood alone in the woods.  Its friends were the trees, which grew over its roof.  Its visitors were the people, who traveled far and wide to reach it.”

“And what happened to the sacrifices?”

“Well, they laid down their, what we’ll call, roots, under, the temple’s roof.”

“Oh.”
